Community Paediatrics

 

We have a variety of clinics you can attend and you can book them by ringing the relevant numbers.

 

1. Child development centre- ring 292821 to book- this is a disability/developmental delay/behavioural problem  clinic

 

2. Mulit-disciplinary Assessment Clinic- once monthly- assess patients with more than one area of developmental delay Start at 1.30pm  

 

3. Discuss with your local health visitor re: new patient's they're referring for developmental delay and famililies they know who you could speak to who have a  disabled child.

 

4. Behavioural problems e/g/ autism. Keighley patients- Vidya runs a weds morning clinic- ring 295661

 

5. Hillbrook MDT- diagnosis of autism etc- 1st Thurs/moth (5/3, 2/4, 7/5, 4/6 and 2/7)

 

6. ADHD clinics are run by CAMS.

 

7. Speak to school nurse via Keighley Health Centre re:  their role in child's health

 

8. Special Schools- regular clinics- Ring Jill 295661- she organises the community paeds clincs.

 

9. Feeding clinics- run by SALT/dietician- monthly. Ring 292821 to arrange. tues pm

 

10.OT/physio assessments- dyspraxia e.g. cerebral palsy

 

11. Audiology clinics- contact AGH.

 

12. General community peads OPC
