The Fisher Medical practice can trace its roots back over one hundred years, to the first Dr. Fisher who set up his plate in Skipton in 1885. The last Dr Fisher (Brian) retired in 1994 and the new surgery building has been named after the Fisher family doctors, who worked in the practice for three generations.

 

The practice has gradually expanded to provide medical services to some 13,500 patients in 300 square miles of the Craven area. We practice from our main premises in Skipton, and our branch surgery in Gargrave.
