Airedale is unusual in that almost every practice in the area is a training practice. Many trainers have benn through the training scheme themselves. The trainers group is very friendly and is a great source of support for all the trainers.

Trainers workshops take place away from the hospital for a whole day at a time, which allows enough time to devote to learning about education theory and practice, and local developments. We have the benefit of two great locations at Utopia at Broughton Hall and Parceval Hall at Bolton Abbey in Wharfedale.

There are usually a few people on the Pathway to Training and prospective trainers are invited to attend trainers workshops and usually meet up to help each other in the process of becoming trainers.
